Short Film - ‘Picture Perfect‘

This short film was created for the Moët Moment Film Festival, a competition centered around the theme “A Cause for Celebration.” The story follows a young woman processing the aftermath of a traumatic experience. Through fragmented flashbacks, news audio, and moments of quiet tension, the film explores the weight of silence and the emotional complexity survivors often carry.

The narrative builds to a small but powerful moment: her decision to pick up the phone and make a call; the first step toward speaking up and beginning the process of healing.

This video captures the 70th birthday celebration of a beloved grandmother, bringing together a close-knit Dominican family for a night full of music, dancing, and laughter.

The first half of the video leans into the energy of the celebration; the packed dance floor, the music, and the joy of the moment. As the video transitions, the tone becomes slower and more intimate, highlighting the warmth of the family and the deep appreciation they share for the woman at the center of it all.

Youtube Intro

This video was created as the intro for a YouTube vlogger’s “25 Days of Vlogmas” series. Working from the client’s concept, I collaborated with her to bring the idea to life visually through cinematography, lighting, and editing.

To reinforce the holiday theme, the video uses warm lighting and subtle red and green accents throughout the video, creating a cozy Christmas atmosphere. The short narrative follows her preparing cookies for Santa before an unexpected knock at the door leads to a gift from her boyfriend; the wish she had just written moments earlier.

Music Video

This music video was created in collaboration with an artist who brought a freestyle track and a rough visual concept. Because the song carries an early-2000s hip-hop sound with classic influences, we wanted the video to reflect that same blend of old and new.

We secured permission to film inside a record store before opening, using its collection of classic hip-hop records as the backdrop for energetic performance shots and details of the environment.

In post-production, I used warm orange and yellow tones in the color grade to evoke the feel of classic 90s and early-2000s hip-hop visuals while keeping the image modern and vibrant.

Short Film - ‘Bear Market’

Bear Market is a short narrative exploring a young graduate’s preparation for a high-stakes job interview, highlighting anxiety, confidence, and personal limitations. I led the project from concept to final edit, handling writing, direction, cinematography, color, editing, set design, and sound.

The film uses a gradually darkening color palette and overlapping internal dialogue to reflect the character’s emotional journey. A voice performance from my former manager added authenticity to the high-pressure interview scene.
